What it will explain
This assistant is being built to teach, not to tell fortunes: to walk you through your own chart in the order a Vedic astrologer reads it, so that the next consultation you have makes more sense.
- The ascendant (lagna), the sign rising at your birth, and its lord: the starting point of every house.
- Your Moon sign (rashi) and birth star (nakshatra), which many Indian families use for names, matching and daily horoscopes.
- The twelve houses and what each one covers, from the self in the first to losses and letting go in the twelfth.
- Planetary dignity: exaltation, own sign, friendly and enemy signs, debilitation, and why a planet's house placement matters alongside its sign.
- How the Vimshottari dasha begins from the Moon's nakshatra at birth and which period you are in now.
- How to read a North Indian (diamond) and a South Indian (square) chart, so a chart from any astrologer is readable.
How it will answer
It will explain the reasoning behind each point and show which part of the chart it comes from. Where schools differ, for example on ayanamsha or on house systems, it will say so instead of picking one silently. It needs your exact date, time and place of birth; with an unsure birth time it will tell you which parts of the reading may change.
